President: Impossible to ensure peace in region or stay in Artsakh without Russia army joint efforts

The future of our country, ensuring peace in the region, or staying in Artsakh, is impossible without the joint efforts of the Russian army. President Arayik Harutyunyan stated this at his talks with the people of Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh).

As reported earlier, in the past few days, Harutyunyan visited Taghavard and Karmir Shuka villages in the Martuni region, and Sarushen, Shosh, Khanapat, and Khramort villages in the Askeran region. At the meeting with the people of Taghavard, Arayik Harutyunyan said: "Taghavard is the image of our country; just as we lost a part of the country, so we lost a part of Taghavard. You know very well that we fought to the death (…). Attack for more than 20 days, every day, they [the Azerbaijanis] tried to capture Taghavard, Karmir Shuka and pave the way for Fizuli, Karmir Shuka, to go to Shushi. We managed to thwart part of their plan and today to have the opportunity to build our country—at least in this part of the homeland."
