Armenia MOD: It was relatively quiet at border with Azerbaijan on New Year's Eve

YEREVAN. – New Year's Eve was relatively quiet on the Armenian-Azerbaijani border, there were few shootings.

Defense Ministry spokesman Artsrun Hovhannisyan told this to Armenian today.

According to him, no incidents were recorded. "We virtually didn't open fire in response because it was calm," he added.

And Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh) Defense Army Spokesman Senor Hasratyan told us that the situation at the line of contact with Azerbaijan is calm. "The situation has been calm," he said. "The vanguard units of the Defense Army continue to carry out their tasks confidently."
